Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously following her first enrollment at Stanford University. The first time she was recognized for her work, it was with parts in movies like Pleasantville and Election but it was her portrayal of Elle Woods in the box office hit Legally Blonde that marked a pivotal moment in her professional career.
