Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson who was an ironworker from Chillicothe on the 20th of February, 1937. Her mother, Lillian Ryan worked as household helper. Nancy was the oldest of six kids. The passion for music that her father had and the records he played at home had a major influence on Nancy at the age of a girl. Nancy knew that she was going to be a singer at the age of 4 years old. She developed her talent by singing in the church choir. She was a finalist on a talent show on TV at the age of 15 and started being a regular on the tv program Skyline Melodies while still in high school. That same year, Nancy started to work at nightclubs. After graduating from high school the 17-year old Nancy took a class for a semester at the Ohio's Central State College now Central State University before leaving and becoming an accomplished musician. In 1956 she released her first album with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. They performed together throughout 1956 until 1958. Nancy's very first Dot Records recording was made while she was in the Big Band of Carolyn Club. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she relocate into New York so as to enhance her career. In 1959 Nancy made the move in The Big Town. After just a few days after, her manager saw her performance and decided to hire her. She made her recording debut in 1960 with one single following the contract with Capitol Records. Guess Who I Saw Today. Capitol Records issued five Nancy Wilson albums over a period of two years. Adderley influenced her to move away from R&B to jazz and torch song. The 1962 group collaboration of Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley was instrumental in propelling her to fame as she released her biggest song Tell Me the Truth in 1963. She was offered a job at New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's most prestigious nightclub.
Maisie Richardson Sellers (born Maisie Elizabeth Sellers) is an British TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is the lead role of Chloe Winthrop in Netflix film The Kissing Booth. In ABC Biblical's Of Kings and Prophets she played Michal who was the child of Israel the King Saul. The actress has appeared in various popular TV programs, such as The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow. She completed her schooling in a private school and did graduate at the University of Oxford. She holds a degree in Archaeology, Anthropology. Maisie started her acting career in the film Our First World, released in 2012. Ellie played her role in 2013's short film Americano and Rum. She starred in a brief cameo role in the role of Korr Sella for the 2015 film Short Wars : The Force awakens. She played Chloe Winthrop in Netflix's original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 & 3.
