Lauren Alaina became an instant favorite among the American Idol competitors of Season Ten. She is known for her uniqueness and dedication to God. Lauren Alaina is based in Rossville Georgia and was raised in the area. She found her love for singing when Lauren's cousin who was sick with a tumor in the brain, convinced Lauren to pursue singing. While on American Idol she quickly became friends with the winner Scotty McCreery. Both shared faith-based country heritage, and both were very likable. Even though Scotty took the win, Lauren was less than thrilled losing to a close best friend. Trevor Morris' death occurred during scuffles between inmates. Trevor Morris, who was 27, at the time of his death, was active on social media, particularly in Twitter.
