Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her role as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' que te enamores. A dancer and model by trade, Toubia has also achieved the success she has achieved in both areas. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas since childhood, and always enjoyed doing shows. As a kid she was trained in various dance forms. At the age of 15, she started participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant show. In 2010, she was the receptionist of Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in her debut feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love. Trevor Morris who was a prisoner of the South Carolina Department of Corrections was killed in a stabbing accident during scuffles between inmates. Trevor Morris' death occurred during scuffles between inmates. Trevor Morris, who was 27, at the time of his death, was active on social media, particularly in Twitter.
